About The Dealership Venue
MEET OUR FOUNDERS:
The Morski Family
Kyle Morski, owner of The Dealership Event Venue, is a lifelong Oxford resident & Oxford High School graduate (class of ’06.) His professional career began in Automotive and he is an avid fan of classic & muscle cars.
In 2014, he proposed to his wife, Lisa. During the wedding planning process, Kyle became interested in the events business – in particular, event rentals for chiavari chairs and tables. Kyle & Lisa were married in 2015, and over the next two years, Kyle began building a new business: Great Lakes Chiavari. He opened in 2017 and became successful rather quickly, so he left his career in automotive to focus full-time on events.
Since then, Great Lakes Chiavari has done over 1,000 events, averaging 150-250 per year. With his growing passion & skill in the events space, he decided to acquire In Good Taste, an event rental company in Oxford, in March 2020.
In 2022, Kyle & Lisa decided to create their own events venue in the Oxford area. In January of 2023, they made an offer on 22 N. Washington St., the old Williams Art Glass facility in downtown Oxford. Now, they’re renovating this historic building and former auto dealership into an elegant event space with an industrial / rustic appeal for events of all kinds.
